Mayanot policy
is that all students must begin their studies
at Mayanot on the official starting date of
the semester or immediately following a break
as listed in the Academic Calendar. Permission
from the Mayanot Admissions office must be
obtained in advance for those who, due to
extenuating circumstances, need to begin after
the semester or start date begins. |

Shabbat Calendar Definitions

Shabbat |
Students
will spend an inspirational Shabbat
at Mayanot with a host family. |
| In/Out
Shabbat |
The
dorms are open and Mayanot staff will
assist students with arranging meals
at host families in Jerusalem or students
are welcome to arrange their own meals. |
| Out
Shabbat |
The
dorms are closed and Mayanot staff will
assist students with arranging to spend
Shabbat with diverse communities and
families throughout the country. |
| Shabbaton |
Students
will travel together with a host family
and enjoy a festive Shabbat away. |
| Mini
Shabbaton |
Students
will travel together to enjoy a Shabbat
together with families in a specific
community. |
